THE SPOTSWOOD QUARANTINE DOG WALKS

The Spotswood quarantine station has set access hours Tuesday to Friday. Upon negotiation we can usually provide walks for your dog on any of those days within the visiting hours that they allow. These walks are truly the most important thing that your dog will receive. Others may quote pampering, cuddles and the like, but the reality is that all dogs need an extended walk to sniff and catalog smells, view a wider area and mark territories. While this walking will be on-lead walking, your dog will greatly mentally and physically benefit from any additional walks that we can provide above and beyond the very short walks that AQIS is able to provide.

We will pat, cuddle and talk to your dog as much or as little as instructed by you, but at the end of the day, your dog, the pack animal will mostly be benefiting from its exclusive ‘me time’ out of its pen and being a little bit closer to the real world.

HEALTHY DOG TREATS

Spotswood quarantine will provide your dog with a ‘high quality nutritionally balanced commercial’ dog food. You may have chosen to use this or to provide your own meals. Whichever method you have chosen, it is an evolutionary fact that dogs are carnivores and ideally should obtain a large proportion of their meal from raw meat. YOUR DOG REQUESTS

Spotswood dog quarantine allows owners to provide special diets and approved toys, bedding or anything that you believe will make your beloved dogs stay a happier one. We are happy to work in with any special requests that you may have upon our visits. Your dog’s health and happiness is our priority and we intend on making their brief stay in quarantine as happy as possible.

DOG WALKER MELBOURNE FEES

Similar to our regular dog walking service, we provide complete flexibility to suit your needs. Currently the facility only allows two walks per week Tuesday to Friday at set times. During these times we can walk your dog on lead for a minimum of 30 minutes. What we essentially charge is the standard dog walk fee plus a solo dog walk surcharge ($7). Hence 1-2 walks per week will cost $32 each, including treats.

Included in the Dog Walkers Melbourne service you will receive an email update with photos after every visit.
